Missing shingles from wind damage expose the underlayment to UV degradation. If the underlayment is compromised, water intrusion follows the next rain. We don't just replace the missing shingle. We pull back surrounding courses, inspect the underlayment for UV damage and nail holes, replace compromised sections, and weave new CertainTeed Landmark or IKO Cambridge shingles into the existing field. Proper repair, not a patch.

We install 24-gauge and 26-gauge steel standing seam panels in Galvalume and pre-painted finishes. Concealed fastener clips allow the panels to expand and contract with temperature changes without stress on the fasteners. That's why standing seam doesn't leak. The clips float.

Architectural shingles are what we install on 90% of Burden homes. They're thicker, heavier, and more wind-resistant than the old 3-tab flat shingles. They also look dramatically better. Dimensional profiles that mimic wood shake or slate. Standard architectural shingles carry a 30-year warranty. Premium versions go to 50.

PVC membrane for Burden restaurants, commercial kitchens, and facilities with rooftop grease exhaust or chemical exposure. PVC resists oils and animal fats that destroy TPO and EPDM membranes. We install IB Roof Systems and Duro-Last PVC with factory-fabricated accessories for watertight penetration details. Built-up roofing (BUR) uses 3 or 4 plies of fiberglass felt in hot asphalt with a gravel or cap sheet surface. Oldest proven flat roof system, with 30+ year service life in Kansas. We still install BUR when the application calls for it.
